Jan's poem on a tablecloth may be a bit fragile, But maybe my fingers will prove to be more agile. So below are the words of his great creation, Congratulations and thanks to a Bard for the Nation.

An Ode to Paul

Upon this island of Levkas
Lives a very special man
Who has a "really weird" accent
He comes from Birmingham

Amongst the local gentry
His name is superstar
Cos every time he visits
He brings a brand new car

A black one or a white one
With wheels of chromium steel
The only thing you'll never see
Is Sue behind the wheel

At Concrete Bill's he has his space
And arrives each night with a smiley face
He drives home each night sober
From January to October

And so to Paul the Birthday Boy
I hope today is full of joy
With all your mates and a full wine glass
Happy Birthday Paul, we think you're class
