We don't normally enjoy the drive through Switzerland
Road works, road works & road works
And the scenery not what I expected
BUT ....

| This time we went over the Gottard Pass instead of through the ghastly tunnel |

| The top of the pass There was a disproportionate number of motor bikes and sports cars enjoying the windy road |
 |
| The top was like another world Flat with rocky crags and dotted with pools and small lakes |
 |
| Just as we began to descend we stopped at a little cafe with a spectacular view |
 |
| The sound of the cow bells below was so loud |
 |
| A view of the road to come |
