PAYE

Having been laid low by the lurghy I have been listening to a lot of news.  David Cameron has offered help to the Greek Government regarding tax collection.  It made me think of the wonders of the PAYE system.  PAYE was devised by Sir Paul Chambers in 1944.  Anyone who has operated a payroll in the good old days of tax tables will understand its strange beauty
