Thursday 22nd December

Lachlan & Austin make bread crumbs for the bread sauce

Then Austin tries the cranberry sauce they have made on the crusts
Looks like he thinks it is good !
Also note the sponge cake - just out of the oven....

Not surprising that we need help with the TV wiring....

Please nag (well encourage) me to pick my ukulele up again
I will be so sorry if I give it up now ....

We decided on a passion flower for the arch - with some honeysuckle too

Friday 16th December

We had a nice lunch at Katoghi today..
The Spaghetti Puntanesca was excellent,
and the log fire very comforting

This has always bothered me..
Is it deliberate or a problem with the English/Greek alphabet?

So now my little car gets the once over
Wheels, tyres, brakes
'cos it is going to be a bit busier

Dolphins !

Can you believe that I saw dolphins from the house today ?
I took this pic a few minutes after, but believe me, they are in there somewhere..

My gecko had a refurb while the metal paint was out...
Now he will go away for the winter - away from the nasty rain

Great to see the pandas arriving in Scotland
Some good news to watch for a change
Looking forward to the patter of tiny paws .....

The welding on the arch is completed

And then it gets a coat of paint
We now need to select a plant to grow up there

Book Club

What a lovely little book!
I really enjoyed it and it made me want to read other things that she has written. I am already a great fan of Woman's Hour.
