While we were in Karia I spotted this church window

I think that we will use this design as inspiration for the wrought iron coverings for our small windows

I forgot to give you the results of the Pumpkin Competition

He is a fantastic gardener actually & deserved the prize

Now the weather is getting cooler I plan to join Paul on his nightly circular walk

After a meeting with Clive and Costas Vagenas (the mechanicos who worked on this house) Paul starts to dismantle the wall as the first stage in sorting out the subsidence

He found this nest in the middle of the wall
I wonder who / what it belonged to?
Any ideas ?
