Mind you today's picture was an inspiration....

I rolled out the sunblind for the first time today to find this tiny wasp's nest

At first I thought that it was abandoned and then the wasp started to visit

Amazing how perfectly formed it is,

but I don't think that the most ardent animal lover would blame us for washing it away!

It contained 3 little red lavae - beautiful -

but not above our back door!

We are quite proud of these African Violets that have just come into bloom again.

They were a Mother's Day gift to Paul's mum in 2008, via Interflora.

Despite the long journey here they have settled in well.

I must be doing something right!
