Saturday 27th February

I thought you would like to see where I work, especially as the move to a bigger and better office is coming closer.

Friday 26th February

Today we have a new plant ouside the front door.

Is it a magnolia do you think?

The old one (lots of little purple flowers & small leaves) was starting to look sad, and we discovered that it was awfully pot bound. So off to open ground it has gone & good luck!

I will let you know how they get on...

Thursday 25th February

Well today there is a tale to tell!

I like a fruit yoghurt for my breakfast but this morning I discovered that paul had eaten my last strawberry yoghurt on a punnet of strawberries and a banana last night.

Shock horror do I hear you say?

SO, I thought - there is half a plain yoghurt in the fridge and in the absence of any fresh fruit - shopping not my strong point this week - I will open a tin of pears to go with it.

Hope you are not loosing the will to live - hang on in there...

I opened the tin and what was in there?

Just Juice - not a pear to be seen!

Quiet day today, so thought I would put up another photo that I took in Vonitsa yesterday.

The view from the castle, over the town towards the island.

I always forget how beautiful it is there.

It must be on the list for May Half term destinations I think.

Tuesday 23rd February

We had a lovely morning at Vonitsa market and then took a walk up to the castle only to find it closed for renovation. The sun is starting to feel warmer and the sky more blue...

You can see that spring is on the way with the wild flowers that are springing up in our garden - more every day

Well, Esmerelda is going to her new home - she is destined to live on Mad Robbie's allotment. He seems really pleased to see her. I hope she will be happy with him.

I will miss you Esmerelda!

Since she became a star Esmerelda gets everywhere - not sure that we will be able to keep her much longer - I think that she will have to mooove on.

Time to take the set down - All over... but it is strange how virtually the whole caste went down with a cold over the week end

Clean Monday here in Greece. The first day of lent.

We went to watch the kites on Milos Beach but they were just all too high to get a decent photo. Laurie reckoned that he had got a kilometer of string on his kite! We left before he had managed to reel it in.

We WILL buy a kite next year
